The iTradesmen Process

STEP 1: Assessment of Damage

When you call, an iTradesmen Group representative will guide you through several questions we will require to handle your water damage issue best more quickly and efficiently. This initial contact is an essential part of a prompt and practical assessment.

STEP 2: Inspection & Report

A licensed tradesman determines the class of water damage and what areas are affected. We can check for moisture in timber, concrete, walls, ceilings using thermal imaging and leak detection equipment. We then create a detailed causation report you may need for your insurance company or facilities manager.

STEP 3: Extraction

Suppose your home or business needs the water extracted. We use a range of equipment to remove the water from your property. We use an invasive or non-invasive process.

STEP 4: Drying

Once all water has been extracted and eliminated from your property, we then determine the most suitable and time-efficient way to dry the affected areas of your home or business. The structures, flooring, carpet or furniture, will be dried and restored to eliminate further damage. So building repairs can take place as soon as possible.

STEP 5: Elimination

Eliminate potential bacteria such as mould growth in walls, ceiling, timber floors, carpets, and underlay odour. Appropriate treatments can be applied to break down the bacteria, eliminate the smell, and improve general health and the atmosphere in your home or business.

STEP 6: Repair & Reinstatement

The last step is the repair and reinstatement of your home or business to its pre-water damage condition. The repair and reinstatement process can be relatively minor, such as replacing the carpet and underlay or could include major reconstruction, such as rebuilding entire rooms of a home or business.

STEP 7: Final Inspection

iTradesmen can attend with the site contact so a final inspection can occur on the repairs to ensure that all repairs are carried out to a high standard. You will then have the opportunity to provide feedback on iTradesmen Groups quality and performance.
